Corrections commander recognized for 25 years of service

The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office recognized Corrections Commander Sabrina Jennings for 25 years of service on Sept. 26. Sheriff Dwight A. Baird presented Commander Jennings with a 25-year service pin.

“Commander Jennings has been involved with several major projects at the sheriff’s office including the transition to the new courthouse and addition of the south wing to the jail. Commander Jennings is a dedicated and valued member of the sheriff’s office,” said Sheriff Baird.

Commander Jennings is a graduate of Oswego High School and earned a Bachelor of Arts in management with honors from Benedictine University.

She is a graduate of Northwestern University’s Center for Public Safety School of Police Staff and Command.

Commander Jennings began her career as a corrections deputy in 1991, was promoted to sergeant in 1997, and commander in 2003
