Montgomery police arrested Trestan Tanzy, 33, of Crest Hill while responding to a report of a loud party Oct. 29 at 11:36 p.m. in the 800 block of Victoria Drive. Police said they learned that Tanzy was wanted on a Will County warrant for driving while license suspended.
Montgomery police arrested Baron D. McClung, 26, of Aurora, after stopping his vehicle for having its bright lights on in the 1500 block of Douglas Road in the village Oct. 30 at 12:01 a.m. Police said McClung was charged with driving on a revoked license.
Respond to car fire
Montgomery police assisted Sugar Grove firefighters who extinguished a car fire on Lakewood Creek Drive at Oakmont Drive Oct. 29 at 7:44 p.m. Police said the driver of the vehicle told officers that his vehicle had begun making weird noises and then began to smoke. He got out of the car to inspect and then observed the flames, police said.
Have info on hit, run
Montgomery police said they have suspect information on the driver involved in a hit and run crash that occurred in a parking lot in the 800 block of Montgomery Road. Police said a silver, four-door vehicle struck an occupied parked car in the lot and then left the area. A license plate for the offending vehicle was obtained, according to police.
Montgomery police arrested Veronica Martinez, 30, of Aurora after stopping her vehicle Oct. 28 at 3:47 p.m. on Montgomery Road at Jackson Street. Police said Martinez faces charges of driving while license suspended and speeding.
A customer at a store in the 1900 block of Hill Avenue told Montgomery police that she lost her purse while at the store Oct. 28 at 6:43 p.m. Police said they were unable to locate the purse.
Respond to domestic
Montgomery police responded to a domestic dispute at a residence in the 2100 block of Jericho Road Oct. 29 at 7:32 a.m. Police said no arrests were made and the individuals involved separated for the rest of the day.
