Burlington store to locate in former Lowe's space

Oswego officials confirmed Wednesday that Burlington, formerly known as Burlington Coat Factory, is locating in a portion of the former Lowe’s Home Improvement store on Route 34.

Rod Zenner, the village’s community development director, said a lease has been signed for 44,000 square feet of space in the former store at 2404 Route 34.

The Burlington store will be located adjacent to the existing Hobby Lobby store, Zenner said.

In related news, the Village Board approved a sign amendment for Burlington at its meeting Tuesday evening. The measure allowed the company to install a sign larger than what is allowed by the village, according to a village memo.
