Kendall County court cases

• Taylor Cano, 26, currently housed in the Kendall County Jail, was recently charged with aggravated battery of a peace officer, a Class 2 felony, for allegedly striking a deputy in the head with his fist on Dec. 22, according to Kendall County court records.

Cano was also charged with aggravated assault, a Class 3 felony, for allegedly charging at a deputy on the same day. Bail was set at $50,000 and a court date of Jan. 19 was set.

• Alejandro Urzua, 40, 400 block of North Union Street, Aurora, was charged with four counts of manufacturing/delivering between 100 and 400 grams of cocaine, Class X felonies, and four counts possession of cocaine, Class 1 felonies, stemming from incidents that allegedly occurred on Aug. 9, Aug. 18, Aug. 30, and Sept. 20 in Kane and Kendall counties.

Urzua was also charged with possession of a controlled substance, a Class 4 felony, for allegedly possessing less than 15 grams of cocaine on Sept. 29. Bail was set at $500,000. A court date of Jan. 17 has been set.

• Michael Diaz, 40, of Marseilles, was recently indicted on multiple felonies stemming from incidents that occurred around Kane and Kendall counties in 2016, according to court records.

Diaz was charged with five counts of manufacturing/delivering between 100 and 400 grams of cocaine, Class X felonies, and five counts possession of cocaine, Class 1 felonies, stemming from incidents that allegedly occurred on Aug. 9, Aug. 18, Aug. 30, Sept. 20 and Sept. 29. He was also indicted on two counts of driving on a suspended license, Class 2 felonies, stemming from incidents that occurred on Aug. 9 and Sept. 29, according to court records. Bail was set at $100,000 and a court date of Jan. 27 has been set.

• Matthew Parello, 18, 600 block of Hawley Drive, Oswego, was recently charged with possession of a controlled substance, a Class 4 felony, for allegedly possessing alprazolam on Oct. 5, according to Kendall County court records. Bail was set at $5,000 and a court date of Dec. 30 was set.

• Justin Torres, 32, was recently charged with four counts of burglary, Class 2 felonies, for allegedly burglarizing a Kendall County business located in the 600 block of South Hugh Street, Plano, on Sept. 15, Sept. 16, Oct. 4 and Oct. 19, according to Kendall County court records. Bail was set at $20,000 and a court date of Jan. 30 has been set.

• Billiejo Schultz, 33, 900 block of Hyte Street, Plano, was recently charged with possession of a controlled substance, a Class 4 felony, for allegedly possessing alprazolam on May 25, according to Kendall County court records. A motion to set bail was issued and a court date of Jan. 17 was set.
