Vehicle damaged; police seeking info

Sometime during the overnight hours of Dec. 27 and Dec. 28, someone used a brick to damage a vehicle parked in the 700 block of Rock Street in Plano, according to Plano police. Police said damage to the vehicle has been estimated at several hundred dollars. Police are urging anyone witnessing suspicious activity to contact them immediately. In addition, police said they are asking anyone who may have information on the case to call them at 630-552-3121 or contact the Kendall County Crime Stoppers at 630-553-5999. Callers remain anonymous and are eligible for rewards up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest.

Motorist cited

Plano police arrested Gabriel R. Guzman, 25, of the 800 block of Bishop Avenue, Aurora, after stopping his vehicle on Big Rock Avenue at Sweetbriar Place Jan. 2 at 10:03 a.m. Police said Guzman faces charges of driving on a suspended license and expired registration. He was released on bond pending a court appearance later this month.
