Police respond to crashes
Montgomery police responded to eight separate property-damage accidents between 4:10 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. Monday evening. Police said no one was injured in the wrecks, which occurred during and after a light snowfall.
A Montgomery resident told village police Jan. 7 that an ex-boyfriend was harassing her via phone calls.
A diamond ring valued at $800 was stolen from a residence in the 2400 block of Prairie Crossing in Montgomery, village police were notified Jan. 7. Police said the ring was stolen while workers were in the residence.
Montgomery police arrested arrested Aaron Brown of Aurora Jan. 7 at 6:38 p.m. on a charge of disorderly conduct at a business in the 200 block of Montgomery Road.
Montgomery police arrested Obed Helguin of Aurora Jan. 7 at 11:59 p.m. after stopping his vehicle on Route 31 at Albright Road for not having a front license plate. Police said Helguin was wanted on a warrant for failure to appear in court on a prior traffic violation and charged with driving on a suspended license.
