To the Editor:
A number of Yorkville High School athletes helped with the setup and take down of the equipment used for the Friends of the Yorkville Library’s fourth annual Mini Golf FUN Raiser in January. They were willing and eager to help and very courteous as well. They represented themselves, their coaches, and their school in an extremely positive manner.
Varsity Baseball Coach Scott Luken worked with his players: Jeffrey Freiberg, Zach Haddox, Cole Johnson, Jon Jungr, Kyle Koch, Ty Liaromatis, Stephen Sewruk, Max Warren, Zach Weiss, Luke Williams and Michael Wojcik.
Football Coach Dan McGuire also worked alongside his players: Peter Alvarez, Jacob Brooks, Tony McManus, Tanner Mickiewicz, Jake Piasecki, Josh Schroeder, Michael Zadorozny and Jake Wolf.
We are grateful for their assistance. Yorkville can be very proud of the work ethic and courtesy of these young men.
