Kendall County court cases

• Mario Garner, 27, of Plainfield, was charged with seven counts of home invasion causing injury, all Class X felonies; home invasion with a dangerous weapon, a Class X felony; and two counts of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, Class 3 felonies, stemming from a Jan. 30 incident that occurred in Kendall County, according to court records.

Prosecutors said Garner allegedly entered a home in the 900 block of Salvia Lane, Joliet, knowing at least one person to be present, and battered two people inside the home with his fists, feet and a pool cue. Garner’s next court date was listed as Feb. 7.

• Clinton Cluchey, 32, 300 block of North Elmwood Drive, Aurora, was recently charged with possession of a controlled substance for allegedly possessing less than 15 grams of heroin on Jan. 18, according to Kendall County records.

Bail was set at $7,500 and a court date of Feb. 14 was set.

• Tyrone Jackson, 44, 900 block of Fenton Street, Aurora, was recently charged with retail theft, a Class 4 felony, for allegedly stealing less than $300 worth of merchandise from a store in the 2300 block of Route 34, Oswego, on Dec. 13, having already been previously convicted of retail theft in Kendall County.

A motion to set bail was filed and a court date of March 17 was set.

• Brittney Durr, 22, 2400 block of Savoy Court, Aurora, was recently charged with retail theft, a Class 3 felony, for allegedly stealing an iPhone worth more than $300 from a store in the 2300 block of Route 34, Oswego, on Aug. 12, according to Kendall County court records. Bail was set at $7,500 and a court date of Feb. 14 was set.
