Disorderly conduct

Yorkville police arrested Lanell D. Robinson, 38, of the 1000 block of Marketplace Drive, Yorkville, following an incident at a store in the 1500 block of Sycamore Road on March 7. Police said they were dispatched to the store for a report of a woman refusing to leave the store. Police said Robinson had a problem with the ATM in the store and was demanding that the store give her the money that the ATM would not. Once she was told to leave the store, police said Robinson became belligerent and loud, and was then arrested for disorderly conduct.

Battery

Yorkville police arrested James Hoak, 77, of the 600 block of Victoria Avenue, Yorkville, on March 7 following a fight in the 200 block of East Veterans Parkway. Police said they responded to the location for a fight in progress. Police said Hoak struck the victim after a verbal argument over the victim's child's behavior. Hoak was arrested for battery, police said.

Dog bite

Yorkville police cited Mason Allen, 20, of the 300 block of East Van Emmon St., Yorkville, March 6 after his dog allegedly bit a person. Police said they responded to the 300 block of East Van Emmon for a report of a dog bite. The victim was taken to a hospital and Allen was cited for not having his dog on a leash and a dangerous animal charge, police said.
