Oswego police reports

Two injured in Rt. 34 crash

Two people were injured in a two vehicle crash on Route 34 at Arbor Lane March 12 at 12:09 a.m., Oswego police reported. Police said one of the drivers involved in the crash, Callista Morgan, 18, of Oswego was injured and transported to an area hospital. The other driver, Rick Kennedy, 46, also of Oswego, was also injured but was not transported to a hospital. Police said the accident occurred when Morgan's vehicle pulled out from Arbor Lane into the path of Kennedy's vehicle.

Tires found slashed

Someone slashed the tires on two vehicles parked in the 0-100 block of Seton Creek Drive in Oswego March 13, village police reported.

Cash stolen

Oswego police took a report involving $40 in cash being stolen from a purse at a residence in the 4300 block of Schofield Drive in the village March 9 at 6:30 p.m.

Property damage

Someone tossed frozen mud from a nearby field and damaged a residence in the 20th block of Christian Court March 11, according to Oswego police. Police said damage to the residence was estimated at $600.

Deceptive practice

Oswego police took a report of a deceptive practice at a business in the 70th block of Stonehill Road March 12. Police said payroll check funds were found to be insufficient.

Hit and run reported

Oswego police took a report of a hit and run crash that occurred in the 1200 block of Douglas Road March 12 at 2:05 p.m. No one was hurt in the incident, police said.

iPhone stolen

Oswego police are investigating the theft of an iPhone from a residence in the 500 block of Colchester Drive March 9. Police said the iPhone is valued at $800.

Property damaged

Drywall and a door were found damaged at a residence in the 4300 block of Schofield Drive, Oswego March 8, village police reported. Police said damage was estimated at $500.

Two arrested

Oswego police arrested Angelica Alarcon, 28, of the 1600 block of Coolidge Road, Aurora, and Brenda Moreno, 27, of the 700 block of South Union Street, Aurora, on Route 34 near Route 30 March 7 at 6 p.m. Police said both suspects face charges of retail theft and were each wanted on two warrants.

Hit and run reported

Oswego police took a report of a three car property damage accident on Route 30 at Treasure Drive March 7 at 5:34 p.m. Police said one of the vehicles involved in the accident fled the scene. No injuries were reported.
