Plano police seek home invasion suspect

Plano police are continuing their investigation into a home invasion that occurred in the 300 block of South Cook Street March 8.

Police said a male African-American subject made entry into the residence through an unlocked door. Police said the suspect was described as being approximately 25 to 30 years-old, of average build, and dressed in dark clothing with a hooded sweatshirt. Police said the suspect displayed a black handgun to the victim who was at home along with two children.

The suspect took cash and other items before leaving the residence through the front door at approximately 11:48 a.m. Police said they believe the incident is an isolated one and is currently under investigation.
