The all new KIDS ZONE at the United Methodist Church of Plano is bringing Bible lessons and their teachings to children in unique ways.

Parables and their relationship to everyday life is the focus on Sunday mornings from 9 to 10:15 a.m. Activities, music, Bible verses, crafts, and games focus on the Bible lesson of the day.

“Bible Bucks” are awarded to the children for attendance, bringing their Bible, memorizing verses and class prayers, bringing a friend, etc., and then are turned in for prizes. Music instructors have taught new songs and refreshed previous songs with the children.

KIDS ZONE is for preschool through eighth-grade children. All kids are welcome to join on Sunday mornings from 9 to 10:15 a.m.

Teachers are Pat Morris, Amy Curtis, Julie Jeffries, Tony Curtis, Cindy Akre and Linda Oleson. The music instructor is Liz Schroeder.

There is a high school Sunday School Class and an adult class that meet the same time. The high school teachers are Gerri Henze and Clarence Holdiman. The adult class is led by Matt Wyncoop.
