DeKalb County will hosting an Energy Assistance Program LIHEAP morning from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday, April 26, at Fox Valley Community Center, 1406 Suydam Road, Sandwich.
Applications will be accepted that morning for assistance with heat and electric bills for those who live in DeKalb and Kane counties. If you have applied since Sept. 1, 2016, you will not be eligible to apply again until September 2017.
Attendees should bring their Social Security card, proof of income for the past 30 days, and recent heat and electric bills. Those who cannot attend or have questions, should call 815-758-3835 for an appointment at the DeKalb office.
