The Indian Valley Community Band invites you to its annual Spring Concert at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, May 7, at the Opera House in Sandwich, 140 E. Railroad St.
It was 31 years ago that this multi-generational group of volunteer musicians performed their first concert, and the tradition continues today. This is a free concert – no tickets are needed. Donations will be accepted at the door and will go directly to the Sandwich Opera House for repairs and upkeep to this historic building located in the heart of Sandwich.
Directed by Richard Hart, the concert will feature a variety of popular music suitable for all ages. The Opera House is handicapped-accessible, with a walking ramp just west of the front door and elevator inside that will take patrons to the refinished audience seats on the second floor. Concertgoers are welcome to stay for a punch and cookie reception after the musical performance.
