The second annual Economic Development Week celebration officially kicks off next Monday, May 8.
In Montgomery, the Village Board will pass a resolution acknowledging the economic development profession. In addition, the MEDC has a “lunch and learn” event planned on May 11 at Village Hall. The topic will be solar energy. In June, a bus tour will showcase Montgomery’s business development opportunities.
The International Economic Development Council is the largest professional economic development organization dedicated to serving and educating economic developers. With over 5,000 members, the IEDC is the largest organization of its kind.
