Oswego Township burglary
County sheriff’s deputies responded to a burglary at a home in the 0-100 block of North West Drive in Oswego Township May 15. Police said someone made a forced entry into the residence through a rear window and stole miscellaneous tools. The burglary occurred sometime between midnight May 13 and 8 a.m. May 15, police said.
Motorist issued citations
County sheriff’s deputies cited Alan P. Duangdara, 25, no address given, after stopping his vehicle for speeding 57 mph in a 45 mph zone on Blackhawk Boulevard at Galena Road May 15 at 12:50 p.m. Police said Duangdara was cited for speeding, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of cannabis.
Motorist cited, injured in crash
A 29-year-old motorist, Benjamin Koehler, was injured in a single-vehicle crash in the 16000 block of Galena Road in Little Rock Township May 14 at 3:55 a.m. Police said the accident occurred when the vehicle that Koehler was driving westbound on Galena Road left the roadway and struck a tree. Police said Koehler was later charged with driving under the influence and cited for improper lane usage.
County sheriff’s deputies are investigating the burglary of an attached garage at a residence in the 90-100 block of Poplar Drive in Yorkville sometime between May 1 and May 11.
No complaints signed
County sheriff’s deputies were summoned to the 1300 block of Light Road in Oswego Township May 12 at 8 p.m. on a report that five unknown male subjects had damaged a vehicle in a parking lot. Police said that when contacted, the owner of the vehicle declined to sign complaints.
County sheriff’s deputies arrested Miechele Whitney Chandler, no age or address given, on a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol after they stopped her vehicle on Saugatuck Road and Wembley Road in Boulder Hill May 13 at 12:40 a.m.
Alarm thwarts vehicle burglary
County sheriff’s deputies responded to the 0-10 block of Creve Court in Boulder Hill May 13 at 2:14 a.m. on a report of a burglary from a motor vehicle. Police said the owner of the vehicle told deputies that he heard his vehicle alarm sound and then observed a male subject flee from the vehicle. Though the suspect had gained access to the vehicle, no items were stolen, according to police. The suspect was not located, police said.
County sheriff’s deputies were summoned to the 8000 block of Van Emmon Road in Oswego Township May 13 at 8:30 p.m. on a report of a male under the influence. Police said they located drug paraphernalia and charges are pending.
Shots fired, suspect identified
County sheriff’s deputies have identified a suspect in a shots-fired and reckless discharge of a firearm incident at a campground in the 8000 block of Van Emmon Road in Oswego Township May 6 at 2:04 a.m. Police said the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
Vehicle trespass incident
County sheriff’s deputies are investigating a criminal trespass to vehicle incident that occurred in the 9000 block of Corneils Road in Bristol Township May 12. Police said three suspects took a vehicle without permission and dumped it a short distance from where it was taken.

Fernwood Road incident
County sheriff’s deputies took a report concerning the distribution of harmful material at a residence in the 0-100 block of Fernwood Road in Boulder Hill May 9. Police said the incident occurred on May 5.
Harbor Drive disturbance
County sheriff’s deputies were summoned to a residence in the 100-200 block of Harbor Drive in Oswego Township May 10 at 2:04 a.m. on a report of a mob action, home invasion, violation of an order of protection and criminal damage to property incident. Police said that deputies were advised at the scene that three subjects involved in the incident had fled prior to their arrival. Police said their investigation is continuing and charges are pending in the incident.
Wembley Road domestic
County sheriff’s deputies responded to a domestic dispute at a residence in the 0-100 block of Wembley Road in Oswego Township May 10 at 1:43 a.m. Police said male and female subjects involved in the dispute reported being battered by the other, but no injuries were reported and no complaints signed.
Motorist injured, cited in crash
County sheriff’s deputies reported that a motorist, Diego Vargas, no address or age given, was injured in a single-vehicle crash on Ridge Road north of Ill. Route 126 in NaAuSay Township May 10 at 3:25 a.m. Police said Vargas was driving southbound on Ridge Road when his vehicle left the roadway and rolled over after striking a culvert. Police said Vargas was transported to Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora. He was cited for improper lane usage, no proof of insurance and driving without a valid license.
DUI charge in crash
County sheriff’s deputies arrested Sharon C. Rygh, 57, no address given, after the vehicle she was driving in the 100 block of Boulder Hill Pass May 10 at 8:14 p.m. struck a parked vehicle. Police said Rygh was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
County sheriff’s deputies arrested Jose Maria Arias-Camacho of the 0-100 block of Fieldpoint Road, Boulder Hill, at his residence May 3 on a Kendall County warrant.
Someone broke out the back window of a vehicle while it was parked in the 17000 block of Lisbon Road, Morris, sometime May 2 or May 3, according to the county sheriff’s office. Police said damage was estimated at $1,000.
County sheriff’s deputies arrested James A. Jacobsen, no age given, at a residence in the 100-200 block of East Jones Street, Plano, May 3 on a Kendall County warrant.
County sheriff’s deputies took a report of criminal damage done to property at a home in the 0-100 block of Hampton Road in Boulder Hill May 8. Police said the incident occurred four days earlier and they are continuing their investigation.
Domestic battery arrest
County sheriff’s deputies arrested Matthew Gramza, 59, on a charge of domestic battery in the 5000 block of Half Round Road in Oswego Township May 4 at 9:29 p.m.
County sheriff’s deputies are investigating a harassment through electronic communication incident reported to them by a Boulder Hill resident May 9. Police said material involving the victim was posted on social media.
Suspect scam reported
A Yorkville resident reported a possible internet scam to county sheriff’s deputies May 4. Police said the victim was deceived out of money in the incident which occurred Feb. 23.
Credit card fraud reported
A Yorkville resident told county sheriff’s deputies May 4 that someone used her credit card information to make an unauthorized purchase at a local store on April 27 at 9:40 p.m. Police said they have no suspects at this time.
County sheriff’s deputies arrested Heather Wille, 47, in the 500 block of Clearwater Lane in Oswego Township May 4 at 8 p.m. on a Kendall County warrant for failure to appear in court.
County sheriff’s deputies responded to the area of Rance Road and Stewart Road in Oswego Township May 10 at 1:44 p.m on a report of a personal injury accident. Police said one of the drivers involved in the crash was treated at the scene for a minor injury and released.
SawWeeKee Park damage
County sheriff’s deputies are investigating a criminal damage to state supported property incident that occurred between May 8 and May 10 in SawWeeKee Park in Oswego Township. Police said someone broke the plexiglass and damaged the cardboard on an informational sign. Anyone with information on the damage is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 630-553-7500.
A vehicle parked in the 60th block of Paddock Street in Boulder Hill was burglarized in the early morning hours of May 10, according to the county sheriff’s office. Police said personal items were taken from the vehicle.
