Farmington Lakes hit, run
Oswego police took a report of a hit-and-run crash in the 2000 block of Farmington Lakes Drive May 15. Police said the incident is pending further investigation.
Oswego police are investigating an incident in which a white female suspect stole merchandise from a store in the 2500 block of Route 34 May 14 at 7:34 p.m.
Facing battery charges
Oswego police arrested Esther M. White, 22, of Aurora, on two count charges of domestic battery at a business in the 3000 block of Route 34 May 13 at 2:09 p.m. Police said White was transported to the county jail in Yorkville pending a bond call.
Five arrested at OEHS
Oswego police arrested Noah P. Briscoe, 18, of the 12000 bock of Wild Rye Court, Plainfield, and Nathan R. Meyers, 18, of the 2400 block of Lambert Drive, Aurora, and three juveniles at Oswego East High School May 13 at 3:30 p.m. Police said each of the suspects has been charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol. The suspects were released to the custody of their parents pending a court appearance next month, police said.
Ticketed in Rt. 25 crash
Oswego police ticketed Raymond G. Gunderman, 21, of the 6200 block of Polo Club Drive, Yorkville, with improper passing on a curve after the vehicle he was driving was involved in a crash on Route 25 at Boulder Hill Pass May 11 at 5:59 p.m. Police said Gunderman and the driver of the other vehicle involved in the crash were not injured.
Oswego police arrested Alexandra Lopez, 23, of the 1300 block of Church Road, Aurora, on an in-state warrant May 13 at 8:55 a.m. on Douglas Road at Old Post Road.
Oswego police arrested Cindy Cejudo, 25, of the 2800 block of Ruth Fitzgerald Drive, Plainfield, at Plainfield and Woolley roads May 9 at 7:30 p.m. Police said Cejudo was wanted on a warrant for failure to appear in court.
Vehicle stolen from lot
Oswego police are investigating the theft of a vehicle from an auto dealership’s lot in the 1400 block of Route 34 May 8 at 2:45 a.m. Police said the stolen vehicle is valued at $25,000.
DUI arrest on Route 30
Oswego police arrested Destiny A. Denton, 18, of the 4000 block of Douglas Street, Downers Grove, after stopping her vehicle in the 2500 block of Route 30 near Douglas Road May 9 at 8:30 p.m. Police said Denton was found to have open alcohol in her vehicle. She was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. Denton’s vehicle was towed and she posted bond pending a court appearance next month, police said.
Arrested at jr. high
Oswego police arrested a juvenile at Thompson Jr. High School on Boulder Hill Pass May 10 at 11:03 a.m. on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
Oswego police took a report of a hit-and-run crash in the 300 block of Grapevine Trail May 16. Police said damage to the victim’s vehicle was estimated in excess of $500.
Oswego police arrested Paul T. Kelzer, 54, of the 100 block of Rivermist Drive, Oswego, at a tavern in the 50th block of Main Street May 10 at 8:25 p.m. Police said Kelzer was charged with domestic battery.
DUI arrest on Old Post Rd.
Oswego police arrested Julia A. Villaneuva, 28, of Main Street, Plano, after stopping her vehicle in the 100 block of Old Post Road May 9 at 11:01 p.m. Police said Villaneuva was charged with driving under the influence and hit-and-run.
Oswego police ticketed Juan A. Espina, 35, of the 1200 block of Kane Street, Aurora, with driving on a revoked license and speeding after stopping his vehicle on Washington Street at Route 71 May 12 at 1:43 p.m.
