“Into His Loving Care,” an infant memorial service, will be held at Cross Lutheran Church at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 21. Anyone who has experienced the loss of a baby due to miscarriage, stillbirth, infant death or abortion is welcomed to attend, no matter if that loss was recent or many years ago.

The service will begin in the chapel of Cross Lutheran Church (on Route 47), one mile south of the intersection of Route 47 and 71. After the service, a bird release and the planting of day lilies will take place at the “God’s Garden for Little Ones” memorial site, a quarter-mile west of the church on Ament Road. Refreshments will then be served in the church parlor.

The name of this designated memorial site is: “God’s Garden for Little Ones – Honoring the Lives of All Babies Gone Too Soon.” In a country setting, surrounded by farmland, this landscaped and paved area provides a place of remembrance and comfort for families who are welcome to visit this site at any time.

Contact Cross’ church office at 630-553-7335 for more information or any questions. The community is invited to attend this special memorial service on May 21.
