Kendall County court cases

• Jesus Villa, 25, 300 block of Wentworth Drive, Sandwich, was charged with possession of a firearm by a gang member, a Class 2 felony, and possession of a firearm by a felon, a Class 2 felony, for allegedly possessing a weapon on May 13, according to Kendall County court records. Bail was set at $75,000 and a court date of May 16 was set.

• Angel Leal, 21, 400 block of Blue Ridge Drive, Oswego, was charged with two counts of aggravated drunken driving, Class 4 felonies, for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol on Nov. 12 at a time when he did not have a valid license. A motion to set bail was issued and a court date of May 22 was set.

• Amanda Hoffman, 19, 500 block of Bent Tree Court, Oswego, was charged with possession of a fraudulent identification card, a Class 4 felony, stemming from a May 6 incident, according to Kendall County court records. Bail was set at $5,000 and a court date of June 7 was set.

• Saul Valentine Jr., 38, 1300 block of Douglas Avenue, Montgomery, was charged with multiple felonies stemming from a March 16 incident that occurred in Kendall County. According to court records, Valentine was charged with unlawful restraint, a Class 4 felony; two counts of domestic battery, Class 4 felonies; and two count of aggravated battery in a public place, Class 3 felonies. His next court date is May 19.
