Warrant arrest
Plano police arrested Hector Reyes, 24, of the 900 block of West Route 34, Plano, at his residence on an outstanding warrant issued in DeKalb County. Police said Reyes was transported to the county jail in Yorkville.
Two arrested at bar
Plano police arrested Jesus O. Villa, 25, of the 300 block of Wentworth, Sandwich, and Brenda L. Valdiviezo, 21 of the 1100 block of Sixth Street, Sandwich, at a bar in the 10-20 block of West John Street May 13 at 12:51 p.m. Police said they were summoned to the bar on a report of a disturbance. Police said Villa was arrested on a DeKalb County warrant for possession of a firearm by a street gang member and unlawful use of a weapon. Valdiviezo was arrested on a DeKalb County warrant, police said.
Respond to car, bike crash
Plano police responded to an accident involving a bicyclist and a car at the intersection of West Lee Street and North West Street May 16 at 8:25 a.m. Police said the bicyclist failed to stop at the intersection and struck the passenger side mirror of a Toyota Prius. Police said Little Rock-Fox Fire Protection District paramedics transported a 41-year-old adult and a 5-year-old child who were on the bicycle to Valley West Hospital in Sandwich for evaluation. No citations were issued, police said.
