Letter: Fool me once

To the Editor:

Well, here we go again. Members of Montgomery's "Return to Reason" bunch have stuck it to village residents again. This entire bunch was returned to office in the April election. It defies any logic. Village President Matt Brolley does not seem to be able to make up his mind as to who he wants to represent. Obviously, it was in the back of his mind to run for the U.S. House well before the Montgomery election. If his aspirations for higher office don't work out, his fall back position is to come back to Montgomery. Brolley did not let the residents of Montgomery know what his intentions were. It only took about two weeks after the election for the announcement to come out that Montgomery was just a stepping stone and he was on to bigger and better things.

The residents should be proud of their village president because Brolley has the endorsement of one of the worst partisan Democrats in D.C., Congressman Bill Foster of Naperville.

The residents of Montgomery deserve the best elected officials possible. This return to reason bunch consisting of Brolley, Steve Jungermann, Denny Lee and Theresa Sperling is the worst. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice...
