The Plano Wal-Mart Supercenter recently awarded a grant of $1,000 to the Kendall County Crime Stoppers to be used towards the operation’s payouts for tips received.
The Kendall County Crime Stoppers provides information on crimes committed in Yorkville Police Department, Oswego Police Department, Plano Police Department, Montgomery Police Department and Kendall County Sheriff’s Office jurisdictions.
“The Kendall County Crime Stoppers would like to thank Wal-Mart for its generous donation and greatly appreciate local businesses for their efforts in partnering with them in supporting law enforcement,” said a news release from the group.
