Domestic battery arrest

Yorkville police arrested Bryan S. Dymacek, 29, of the 200 block of Bertram Drive, Yorkville, for domestic violence on Aug. 4 at 3:30 a.m. following an incident at an apartment in the 200 block of Bertram Drive. Police said a neighbor called 911 and heard yelling in an apartment. Police said when they arrived they could see a woman lying on the living room floor asking for help. Police said they forced their way into the apartment and learned that Dymacek had grabbed the victim's arm and hit her in the head with his fist. The victim was checked by paramedics but was not transported to a hospital, police said.

Domestic battery arrest

Yorkville police arrested Michael Miller, 37, of the 300 block of Mulhern Court, Yorkville, for domestic battery following an incident on Aug. 6 at a residence in the 300 block of Mulhern Court.

Telephone harassment

Yorkville police investigated a report of a customer causing a disturbance by using profanities at a business in the 100 block of East Veterans Parkway at 4:30 p.m. on Aug. 2. The customer left but then continued to call the business approximately 20 times, police said. No charges were filed.

No valid license

Yorkville police cited Shelly J. Black, 53, of the 0-99 block of Pletcher Drive, Yorkville, on Aug. 4 for having no valid driver's license, operating an uninsured vehicle and no valid registration.

Failure to reduce speed

Yorkville police cited a male juvenile on Aug. 4 with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident following a crash near the intersection of Route 71 and Route 47. Police said the juvenile's vehicle rear-ended another vehicle while the second vehicle was stopped in traffic. There was minor damage to both vehicles and neither were towed, police said.

Failure to yield

Yorkville police cited Earl G. Lomax, 67, of the 5400 block of Franklin Avenue, Oak Lawn, with failure to yield following an accident where his vehicle pulled out of a private drive just north of Fox Road onto Route 47 and struck a vehicle traveling northbound on Route 47, police said. No injuries were reported.
