Oswego Fire Protection District firefighters extinguished a fire in a home in the 300 block of Bucktail Drive on Oswego's west side Wednesday night.
The fire district reported the cause of the fire is currently under investigation, however it does not appear to be of a suspicious nature.
Upon arriving at the scene, firefighters encountered a heavy fire in an attached garage of the two-story, single family residence.
No one was home at the time of the fire.
The fire district reported that firefighters had the fire under control with within approximately 25 minutes after arriving at the scene.
Firefighters from Bristol-Kendall Fire Protection District assisted the fire scene, while firefighters from the Montgomery and Countryside Fire Protection District provided back-up at Oswego Fire Station No. 2.
