The Kendall County State’s Attorney’s Office has charged an Aurora man, Jacob Browning, 26, of the 200 block of Fourth Street, with predatory criminal sexual assault, a felony, in connection with an incident that occurred in 2011.

According to the county sheriff’s office, the 17-year-old female victim in the case reported being sexually assaulted when she was 12 years old by the suspect, who was an acquaintance and 21 years old at the time.

Deputies took Browning into custody Sept. 11 without incident with the assistance of the Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force. Browning was transported to the county jail in Yorkville, where his bond was set at $500,000.
