Packages for deployed soldiers

The American Legion Riders Post 181 from Sandwich assisted the Plano American Legion Auxiliary Post 395 of Plano in sorting and boxing snacks, toiletry items and fun things for deployed soldiers in various countries of the world. The main focus for the ALR is conducting and assisting with projects for soldiers and veterans. This was an opportunity to assist and work with the Plano American Legion Auxiliary and several members in the community. Pictured are Mel Herreid, Sandy and Bob Lawrence, and Cherie and Bob Mauer, ALR Post 181 members who helped sort and box items on Nov. 19.
