Respond to dog bite
County sheriff’s deputies responded to a dog bite incident at a residence in the 8000 block of Van Emmon Road in Bristol Township Dec. 4 at 6:42 a.m. Police said a 33-year-old resident of the home was bitten on the hand by his brother’s dog while inside the home. Police said the victim was transported to Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora.
Bristol car burglary
County sheriff’s deputies took a report of a burglary to a motor vehicle that occurred in the early morning hours Dec. 1 at a home in the 0-100 block of Oak Hill Drive in Bristol Township. Police said personal items were stolen from the vehicle.
No complaints signed in Bristol fight
County sheriff’s deputies responded to a fight between two men at a residence in the 0-100 block of West Highland Drive in Bristol Township Dec. 4 at 5:45 p.m. Police said neither of the men wished to sign complaints and both refused medical attention.
County sheriff’s deputies arrested Adam Wargo, 21, of the 0-100 block of Springdale Road in Boulder Hill at his residence Nov. 29 at 11:37 a.m. on a warrant for domestic battery. Police said Wargo was transported to the county jail in Yorkville pending court proceedings.
County sheriff’s deputies arrested a juvenile on a charge of possession of alcohol in the 10000 block of Ashley Road in Kendall Township Nov. 29 at 6:09 p.m. Police said the juvenile was referred to court services, while a related investigation into a theft is continuing.
County sheriff’s deputies arrested a juvenile in the 1700 block of Route 30 in Oswego Township Dec. 4 at 8:21 a.m. on a report of a domestic battery. Police said the juvenile was taken into custody.
ID theft proves costly
A resident of the 400 block of Benton Street, Newark, told county sheriff’s deputies Nov. 30 that someone took an unauthorized loan out of his bank account Oct. 31. Police said there are no suspects in the case.
County sheriff’s deputies arrested Ashley Glover, 22, of Montgomery after stopping her vehicle for a lighting violation on Route 31 and Caterpillar Drive near Montgomery Nov. 30 at 7:52 p.m. Police said Glover has been charged with driving on a suspended license. She was released at the scene pending a court appearance, according to police.
County sheriff’s deputies arrested Roslin Deshields-Mathena, 41, of the 3700 block of Bailey Road, Yorkville, Nov. 30 at 11:26 a.m. at her residence on a warrant for failing to appear in court on a charge of driving on a suspended license. Police said Deshields-Mathena was transported to the county jail in Yorkville, where her bond was set at $2,500.
