Oswego police reports

Information in Police Reports is obtained from local police departments. Individuals in Police Reports who have been charged with a crime have not been proved guilty in court.

Arrest two at OEHS

Oswego police arrested two juveniles at Oswego East High School Dec. 4 at 7:08 a.m. Police said both juveniles were charged with battery and disorderly conduct. The juveniles posted bond and were released pending court proceedings, police said.

Vehicle burglary reported

A Boulder Hill resident told Oswego police that $200 was stolen from her vehicle which she had left parked and unlocked outside a store in the 0-10 block of East Merchants Drive Dec. 4 at 6:40 am. Police said they are investigating.

Juvenile arrested at OHS

Oswego police arrested a juvenile on a charge of disorderly conduct at Oswego High School Dec. 1 at 10:22 a.m. Police said the suspect posted bond and was released pending court proceedings.

SUV stolen

Oswego police are investigating the theft of an SUV valued at $6,000 from a residence in the 300 block of Francesca Court Nov. 29 or Nov. 30. Police said the SUV had been left parked in the driveway of the residence with the keys inside at the time of the theft.

Warrant arrest

Oswego police arrested Brian A. Kurtz, 45, of the 500 block of Fullerton Street, Carol Stream, on a warrant for theft at a business in the 2700 block of Route 34 Nov. 28 at 5:10 p.m. Police said the suspect was transported to the DuPage County Jail pending court proceedings.

Vehicle reported stolen

Oswego police are investigating the theft of a vehicle worth $20,000 from a residence on Brandon Court. Police said the theft occurred Dec. 3 at 11:45 p.m.

Wallet stolen at store

Oswego police took a theft report at a store in the 2300 block of Route 34 Dec. 3 at 11:06 p.m. Police said a wallet containing $100 was reported missing.

Merchandise stolen

Merchandise valued at $40 was reported stolen from a supermarket in the 2500 block of Route 30 in Oswego Dec. 3 at 5:30 p.m., according to Oswego police.

Vehicle burglarized

A Plainfield resident told Oswego police that property was stolen from her vehicle and the vehicle was damaged while it was parked in the 2000 block of Mitchell Drive Dec. 3 at 5:20 p.m.

Motorist cited

Oswego police ticketed Eric Barrera, 18, of the 800 block of North Elmwood Drive, Aurora, with driving without a valid license after they stopped his vehicle on Douglas Road at the entrance to Towne's Crossing shopping center Dec. 1 at 9:37 p.m.

License revoked violation

Oswego police arrested Alisha Ann Craven, 26, of the 300 block of Hill Avenue, North Aurora, after stopping her vehicle on Waterbury Circle at Ogden Falls Boulevard Dec. 2, at 12:28 a.m. Police said Craven faces charges of driving while license revoked, no proof of insurance and failure to signal more than 100 feet from an intersection.

Motorist ticketed in crash

Oswego police ticketed Jorge R. Servin, 49, of the 200 block of Fox Chase Drive North, Oswego, after the vehicle he was driving was involved in a property damage crash on Chicago Road at Jackson Street Dec. 1 at 6:35 p.m. Police said Servin was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
