Vehicle drives into backyards, deck
Yorkville police cited Martin Vinod, 20, of the 1300 block of Marketplace Drive, Yorkville, at 6:57 p.m. on Jan. 2 for improper lane usage and operating an uninsured vehicle after an accident that occurred while he was driving along Route 71. Police said Vinod's vehicle was traveling north along Route 71 near Valley View Drive when Vinod lost control of the vehicle. The car drove 200 to 250 feet off the road, over a berm and through the backyards of several residences in the 2000 block of Muirfield Drive, ultimately causing damage to landscaping, some air conditioning units and a deck, police said. Vinod was not injured but was taken to a nearby hospital for an evaluation, police said. No residents were injured, police said.
Yorkville police arrested Aric M. Boldan, 41, of the 400 block of Landmark Avenue, Yorkville, at 10:30 a.m. on Dec. 22 for driving on a suspended license following a traffic stop. Boldan was also cited for having no brake lights.
Yorkville police arrested Jesus Camacho-Vera, 27, of the 10000 block of Route 34, Yorkville, at 9:28 a.m. on Dec. 22, for driving with a suspended license. He was also cited for having no insurance.
Yorkville police cited Robert OBoyle, age unknown, of the 1300 block of Alder Creek Drive, Romeoville, at 11:28 a.m. on Dec. 24 with driving with a suspended license. Police said he was cited and released on scene.
Yorkville police arrested a juvenile on Dec. 20 at 10 p.m. for criminal trespass to a vehicle. The juvenile was referred to Kendall County Probation Services, police said.
Yorkville police arrested Rodrigo Lope-Hernandez, age unknown, of the 200 block of Comstock Street, Joliet, at 8:38 a.m. on Dec. 27 for driving with a revoked license.
Yorkville police arrested Connie T. Jacobson, 56, of the 400 block of Landmark Avenue, Yorkville, at 4:36 p.m. on Dec. 29 for a valid in-state warrant.
