Kendall County sheriff's reports

Warrant arrest

County sheriff’s deputies arrested Javier Machado, 28, of Montgomery on an in-state warrant after they stopped his vehicle for disobeying a stop sign on Bereman Road in Boulder Hill Jan. 29 at 7:28 a.m. Police said Machado was taken to the county jail in Yorkville pending court proceedings.

Boulder Hill hit-and-run

County sheriff’s deputies took a report of a hit-and-run crash in the 0-99 block of Circle Drive West, Boulder Hill, Jan. 27 at 5:40 p.m. Police said an unknown motorist hit a tree in the yard of a residence and drove off. Police said they are investigating.

Warrant arrest

County sheriff’s deputies arrested Vance Schmidt, 25, no address given, at a residence in the 2000 block of Pauline Place in Plano Jan. 29 at 10:50 a.m. on a warrant for failure to appear in court on a prior charge of driving on a suspended license. Police said Schmidt was taken to the county jail in Yorkville pending court proceedings.

Arrested on two warrants

County sheriff’s deputies arrested Jorge Padilla-Silva, 24, at a residence in the 4000 block of Klatt Street, Plano, Jan. 29 at 12:02 p.m. on warrants for failure to appear in court on prior charges of driving on a suspended license and violation of a court order. He was taken to the county jail pending court proceedings.

Threats under investigation

County sheriff’s deputies took a report of harassment by electronic communications at a residence in the 0-99 block of Rocky Way in Boulder Hill Jan. 29. Police said the victim told deputies that the father of her child was continually texting her and making vague threats against her and other household members. Police said they are investigating.

Warrant arrest

County sheriff’s deputies arrested Leovardo Muro, 45, at a residence in the 0-99 block of Hampton Road in Boulder Hill Jan. 27 at 11 a.m. Police said Muro was taken into custody when deputies learned he was wanted on a Kendall County warrant for failure to appear in court on a prior charge of driving on a suspended license.

Pool equipment stolen

A pool pump, pool heater and a hose valued at approximately $250 were stolen from a residence in the 0-100 block of Marnel Road in Boulder Hill Jan. 24, according to the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office.

License violation

County sheriff’s deputies arrested Raul Campuzana, 24, of Montgomery after stopping his vehicle Jan. 27 at 2:22 p.m. on Fernwood Road at Fall Creek Circle in Boulder Hill. Police said Campuzana was charged with driving on a suspended license.

Vehicle burglary reported

County sheriff’s deputies took a report of a vehicle burglary at a residence in the 0-99 block of Field Point Road in Boulder Hill Jan. 27 at 7 p.m. Police said two unlocked vehicles were entered and miscellaneous items were taken from one of the vehicles.

Stalking investigation

County sheriff’s deputies are investigating a report of a stalking incident that occurred Jan. 28 at 6 p.m. in the 0-99 block of Hubbard Way in Boulder Hill.

Warrant arrest

County sheriff’s deputies arrested Stephanie Underwood, 22, of the 0-99 block of Denham Drive, Boulder Hill, at her residence Jan. 28 on a Kendall County warrant for failure to appear in court on a prior charge of driving on a revoked license.

License violation

County sheriff’s deputies arrested Ryan J. Josh, 38, of Montgomery after stopping his vehicle for not having a front license plate Jan. 28 at 3:17 p.m. Police said Josh was cited for driving on a suspended license. He was released at the scene pending a court appearance, according to police.

30 mph over limit

County sheriff’s deputies ticketed Britta Hillebold, 22, of the 3800 block of Pathfinder Court, Joliet, after stopping her vehicle on Route 126 at Schlapp Roads in NaAuSay Township Jan. 28 at 11 p.m. Police said Hillebold was cited for speeding after they stopped her vehicle for traveling at 85 mph in a 55 mph zone.

DUI arrest

County sheriff’s deputies arrested Eric Ziegler, 38, of the 2500 block of Gateway Drive, Plainfield, after stopping his vehicle for an equipment violation Jan. 25 at 11:53 p.m. on Ridge Road at Plainfield Road in NaAuSay Township. Police said Ziegler was charged with driving under the influence. He was taken to the county jail in Yorkville pending court proceedings.

Flat tire leads to DUI arrest

County sheriff’s deputies arrested Austin Vidmar, 22, of the 800 block of Western Lane, Yorkville, on Route 30 east of Route 31 near Montgomery, Jan. 26 at 12:42 a.m. Police said Vidmar’s vehicle had experienced a flat tire while driving on Route 30. Vidmar was charged with driving under the influence and taken to the county jail in Yorkville pending court proceedings.

Trailer stolen

A white and tan 2007 Sunset Trail recreational trailer was stolen in the 7700 block of Route 47 in unincorporated Yorkville sometime between Nov. 20 and Dec. 20, the sheriff’s office reported. Police said they are investigating.

Domestic battery arrest

County sheriff’s deputies arrested Guillermina Montalvo-Almanza, 39, on a charge of domestic battery at a residence in the 100 block of Heathgate Road in Boulder Hill Jan. 28 at 8:42 a.m. Police said Montalvo-Almanza was taken to the county jail in Yorkville pending court proceedings.

Warrant arrest

County sheriff’s deputies arrested Consuelo Varela, 40, of Aurora while responding to a 911 call at a residence in the 100 block of Heathgate Road in Boulder Hill Jan. 28 at 8:42 a.m. Police said Varela was wanted on a Kane County warrant for a prior charge of theft. Varela was taken to the county jail in Yorkville pending court proceedings.

Snowblower stolen

A snowblower was stolen from a shed in the 5000 block of Douglas Road in Oswego Township Jan. 27 at 1 p.m., county sheriff’s deputies were told. Police said the snowblower has a value of $950.

Respond to domestic

County sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of domestic violence at a residence in the 2400 block of Light Road in Oswego Township Jan. 23 at 7:30 p.m. Police said deputies determined that the incident involved household members, but no physical contact occurred and no charges were filed.

Minkler Road hit-and-run

County sheriff’s deputies responded to a hit-and-run traffic crash that occurred sometime Jan. 23 in the 6400 block of Minkler Road in Kendall Township. Police said a vehicle that was traveling north on Minkler Road left the road and struck a fence. The vehicle then drove off without leaving information.

Investigate battery

County sheriff’s deputies are investigating a report of a battery at a residence in the 8000 block of Van Emmon Road in Bristol Township Jan. 23 at 5:41 a.m. Police said deputies were told that a female battered an acquaintance.

DUI arrest in Boulder Hill

County sheriff’s deputies arrested Youqin Lin of Plainfield after stopping her vehicle at the intersection of Long Beach and Scarsdale roads in Boulder Hill Jan. 23 at 3:10 a.m. Police said Lin was charged with driving under the influence. She was taken to the county jail in Yorkville pending court proceedings.

Take burglary report

County sheriff’s deputies took a report of a burglary to a vehicle that occurred in the 400 block of Rennesoy Drive in Big Grove Township Jan. 23. Police said someone entered and stole personal items from the vehicle. Police said they are investigating.

License, registration charges

County sheriff’s deputies arrested Aniya Lightford, 21, of Bolingbrook after stopping to assist her when her vehicle became stranded near Douglas Road and Plainfield Road in Oswego Township Jan. 24 at 8:49 a.m. Police said Lightford was charged with driving on a suspended license and having no registration.

ID theft reported

A Newark resident filed an identity theft report with the sheriff’s office Jan. 24. Police said the victim told them someone had used their personal information to open a credit card account and the victim is now receiving notices from a collection agency. Police said there are no suspects in the case.
