To the Editor:
It seems that last week (Jan. 22) our CIA director Mike Pompeo met with his Russian counterpart Sergey Naryshkin.
The purpose was to discuss “terrorism” according to CIA director Pompeo. The trouble is that Naryshkin is on the Russian sanctions list and should not have been here in the U.S.
Reuters (news) reported the news of this meeting came from a release from the Russian Embassy. Thanks to the Russian news outlets, we were able to learn of the meetings. You see, no news releases were given out to our press outlets.
Sound fishy to you? Well, me too. I thought we have freedom of the press in the USA.
