Tired of the same old routine? Stuck indoors and want to do something different? Make plans to visit Open Roads ABATE Chapter’s pool tournament and chili cook-off on Feb. 24 at Plano Hometown Lanes, 209 W. Main St. in Plano.

Registration for the pool tournament is from 11:30 a.m. to noon with the tournament beginning at noon. Fee is $10 per person.

Anyone wanting to enter the chili cook-off should have their chili at Plano Hometown Lanes by noon. Fee is $5 to enter the cook-off. Anyone who brings chili eats for free. Chili will be sampled from noon to 3 p.m. Winner will be announced at 3 p.m.

Proceeds from both events will benefit Open Roads ABATE Chapter for safety and education projects. For information, call Kevin at 815-545-6114 or find the Open Roads Chapter Facebook page.
