The Village Grind in Oswego hosts the Socrates Cafe the third Wednesday of every month. The next gathering is from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Feb. 21.
Each session, the group will decide on a question to discuss. A facilitator will keep the conversation focused. Participants are encouraged to bring their own questions for discussion. No sign-up is necessary. Each session stands alone, so it is not necessary to attend every meeting.
Socrates Cafe is a gathering of people from different backgrounds who wish to exchange thoughtful ideas and experiences while using the theme of “Socratizing”: the idea that we learn more when we question and question with others.
