Public meeting, open house on Wolfs Crossing Rd. set for Feb. 15

The village of Oswego is hosting a third and final public information meeting on proposed improvements to Wolfs Crossing Road on Thursday, Feb. 15.

The meeting will be held in an open house format between 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. at Village Hall, 100 Parkers Mill in Oswego.

The village is completing its work on the Phase I Engineering Study for Wolfs Crossing Road, and the meeting's purpose is to provide residents with a project update and seek additional public input on the preferred alternative of the project.

Attendees will be able to listen to a narrated PowerPoint presentation, view exhibits, provide comments, and meet with the village study team members one-on-one to ask questions.

The project includes approximately 4.5 miles of Wolfs Crossing Road from U.S. Route 34 to Eola Road. For the past year and a half, the village and its contractor Schoppe Design Associates have been taking a comprehensive look at the transportation needs of the corridor, including an analysis of the existing roadway, safety and capacity issues, and future transportation needs.

For more information, contact Public Works Director Jennifer Hughes at 630-551-2366 or email WolfsCrossing@oswegoil.org. Additional information can also be found at www.oswegoil.org, by clicking on Wolfs Crossing on the homepage.
