The village of Oswego is hosting a third and final public information meeting on proposed improvements to Wolfs Crossing Road on Thursday, Feb. 15.
The meeting will be held in an open house format between 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. at Village Hall, 100 Parkers Mill in Oswego.
The village is completing its work on the Phase I Engineering Study for Wolfs Crossing Road, and the meeting's purpose is to provide residents with a project update and seek additional public input on the preferred alternative of the project.
Attendees will be able to listen to a narrated PowerPoint presentation, view exhibits, provide comments, and meet with the village study team members one-on-one to ask questions.
The project includes approximately 4.5 miles of Wolfs Crossing Road from U.S. Route 34 to Eola Road. For the past year and a half, the village and its contractor Schoppe Design Associates have been taking a comprehensive look at the transportation needs of the corridor, including an analysis of the existing roadway, safety and capacity issues, and future transportation needs.
