The Yorkville Area Chamber of Commerce's Leads Group 1 is hosting a free lunch and learn event on Wednesday, March 14 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the lower level of the Old Second Bank at 26 W. Countryside Parkway, Yorkville.
The luncheon is open to chamber members and non-members.
The purpose of the event is to share information on what a leads group is and to help you determine if being part of a chamber leads group can help grow your business.
Networking and registration will be from 11:30 a.m. to noon, with lunch and a presentation from noon to 1 p.m.
Leads groups have proven to be an effective way to increase business revenues by forming strong bonds with like-minded partners in a non-competitive environment. In 2017, Leads Group 1 generated 499 leads and referrals to each other, which led to business transactions of nearly $1 million in revenue.
To register to attend, go to the chamber website at yorkvillechamber.org and open the lunch and learn events link to sign up.
