Parkview's robotics club attends Shedd's annual ROV celebration

Parkview Christian Academy’s Underwater Robotics Club "Cyber Falcons" brought their self-built water robot (ROV named Tem8) to the North Eastern Illinois University pool to join 30 other schools for the Shedd Aquarium's annual ROV Celebration. Students got to observe, troubleshoot, test and "pilot" their own creations as well as robots built by University of Wisconsin Milwaukee and the Shedd Aquarium. This is the first year that Parkview has partnered with the Shedd Aquarium to have an underwater robotics program. The students meet weekly to learn about the science behind robotics and under water research. They also work on building and wiring their underwater drone.
