A Yorkville man is facing a felony gun charge after he was caught carrying a loaded handgun without a FOID card.
The Kendall County Cooperative Police Assistance Team arrested Timmith D. Washington, 21, of the 1500 block of Stoneridge Circle, Yorkville, on Monday, April 9.
The that Washington faces a Class 4 felony charge of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon.
The documents state that Washington was in possession of an uncased and loaded Taurus 9mm model 709 slim semi-automatic pistol. Washington did not have a Firearm Owner's Identification (FOID) card, the documents state.
Kendall County Judge Robert Pilmer held a hearing on Washington's case on Friday morning, April 13, where Washington was appointed the public defender. The next court hearing for Washington was set for April 17 at 9 a.m.
