Yorkville Junior Women’s Club hosts final meeting of the year

The Yorkville Junior Women’s Club met for their final meeting of the year on Monday, May 14. This nonprofit organization raises money throughout the year and distributes it to worthy organizations in the community at this year-end meeting. The YJWC was proud to be able to hand out $6,555 in donations this year. Open to any female 18 or older in Kendall County, the YJWC meets from September to May on the second Monday of the month. Upcoming projects are a 5B’s BBQ Fundraiser on June 13 and a two-day Fall Craft and Vendor show in September. The club will also host the Fourth of July foot races in Town Square Park after the parade. For more information on any projects, check out YorkvilleJWC.com or like the club’s Facebook page.
