Yorkville Parks and Rec

Youth Fall Soccer and Flag Football late registration available: Looking to get your child involved in a team sport this fall? Late registration for the Youth Fall Soccer and Flag Football leagues is available and will continue as space allows. Programs are offered for children ages 4 through eighth grade for soccer and first grade through sixth grade for flag football. Registration is $90-$105 depending on your child’s grade and residency status. Late registration will be taken as space allows for each specific program. Late registrations are accepted by phone 630-553-4357, or by visiting the City Hall in person, 800 Game Farm Road, Yorkville. For more information go to Yorkville.il.us.

Amigos Spanish Camp: The Yorkville Parks and Recreation Department and Learning Means Fun are offering children ages 5-10 to learn Spanish this summer. Amigos Spanish Camp will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning July 10 and concluding July 26. This camp will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Yorkville Parks and Recreation Department, 201 W. Hydraulic Ave., Yorkville. Amigos Spanish Camp costs $113 for residents and $118 for non-residents. For more information or to register visit yorkville.il.us/register

The Science of Waterparks: The Yorkville Parks and Recreation Department is offering a class all about waterparks, how there are constructed, why they are so much fun. This class is for ages 6-12 and will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at South Point, 810 Preston Lane, Oswego. The Science of Waterparks costs $39 for residents and $44 for non-residents.
