Yorkville library hosting 'How to be a Viking' camp

Nordic stories, food, music and games will highlight the fourth annual “How to be a Viking” camp from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. July 16, 18 and 20 at Yorkville Public Library, 902 Game Farm Road, Yorkville.

Teens and preteens are invited. Admission is free. Registration is closed for the first session. Series co-sponsors are Sons of Norway lodges in Montgomery and Norway, Ill. A Sons of Norway grant supports the series.

Returning as camp co-leaders are Barb Johnson of Yorkville, cultural director for SON Polar Star Lodge 5-472, which meets in Montgomery; and Connie Kross, SON Cleng Peerson Lodge, Norway. To register or for information, call 630-553-4354, ext. 109.
