Oswego police reports

Information in Police Reports is obtained from local police departments. Individuals in Police Reports who have been charged with a crime have not been proved guilty in court.

Vehicle reported stolen

Oswego police are investigating the theft of a vehicle from the 200 block of Angela Circle. Police said the vehicle reportedly was stolen sometime between 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. Aug. 6.

ID theft reported

A resident of Mansfield Way filed an ID theft report with Oswego police Aug. 3. Police said the victim reported that someone used the victim’s name to open a cellphone account. Police said they are investigating.

Domestic battery arrest

Oswego police arrested William P. Doody, 48, of the 600 block of Vista Drive, Oswego, at his residence Aug. 4 at 7:32 p.m. on a charge of domestic battery. Police said Doody was detained pending bond proceedings.

Facing theft, alcohol charges

Oswego police arrested Abigail Y. Teran-Kaseri, 20, of the 800 block of Hill Avenue, Aurora, on charges of retail theft and unlawful possession of alcohol at a store in the 2700 block of Route 34 at 11 p.m. Aug. 4. Police said Teran-Kaseri tried to leave the store without paying for merchandise valued at $49.47. She posted bond and was released pending a court appearance later this month.

Theft suspect arrest

Oswego police arrested Halie R. Robb, 40, of the 10-20 block of Marlin Drive, Oswego Township, on a charge of retail theft at a store in the 2700 block of Route 34 at 7:42 p.m. Aug. 4. Police said Robb tried to leave the store without paying for merchandise valued at $174.93. She later posted bond and was released pending a court appearance later this month.

License violation

Oswego police arrested Kendall J. Collier, 24, of the 100 block of Linden Drive, Oswego, after stopping his vehicle on Wolf’s Crossing Road at Stonehill Road at 11:20 p.m. Aug. 2. Police said Collier was charged with driving on a suspended license. He posted bond and was released pending a court appearance later this month.

Warrant arrest

Oswego police arrested Dontae T. Turner, 35, of the 100 block of Chicago Road, Oswego, at a business in the 50 block of Chicago Road at 10:45 a.m. Aug. 1. Police said Turner was wanted on a warrant. She was taken to the county jail pending court proceedings, police said.

Liquor theft reported

Liquor valued at $27 was stolen from a store in the 2700 block of Route 34 in Oswego on July 31 at 12:06 p.m., according to village police.

License violation

Oswego police arrested Ana Moreno, 30, of the 100 block of Root Street, Aurora, after stopping her vehicle on Madison Street at Washington Street at 3:30 p.m. Aug. 2. Police said Moreno was charged with driving without a valid license. She posted bond and was released pending a court appearance later this month.

Arrested on domestic battery charge

Oswego police arrested Karrie Lynn Wright, 46, of the 3000 block of Timber Hill Lane, Aurora, in the 500 block of Coventry Court at 7:56 p.m. July 31 on a charge of domestic battery. Police said the victims, a 46-year-old woman from Aurora and a 51-year-old man from Oswego, were not injured. Wright was taken to the county jail in Yorkville pending court proceedings.
