Oswego is asking residents to be on the lookout for surveys arriving in some mailboxes throughout the village over the next week.
Every two years, the village partners with ETC Institute to solicit feedback from residents through a community survey.
The survey asks residents for their thoughts on a variety of issues in the village, including public safety, village services and overall quality of life. The results of the survey will be used to improve existing programs and services and help determine long-range planning and decisions in the community.
To maintain the validity of survey results, ETC Institute sends the survey to a random sample of residents.
Residents who receive the survey will get it by mail and can either return the survey by mail, postage paid, or use a provided code to complete the survey online.
The survey takes about 15 to 20 minutes to complete and responses are confidential.
The biennial survey is just one way the village of Oswego encourages feedback from its residents. Residents can follow the village on Facebook, @VillageofOswego, and Twitter, @OswegoIL60543, for up-to-date information about village programs and services.
In addition, residents can give feedback about specific issues in need of attention using the Oswego Click ‘n Fix app available for iPhone and Android devices.
