Arrested on
theft warrant

Oswego police arrested a Plainfield resident, Joseph H. Fowler, 23, of the 24000 block of Joseph Avenue, at a store in the 2300 block of Route 34 on Sept. 4 at 3:55 p.m. Police said Fowler was wanted on a Kendall County warrant for retail theft. He was transported to the county jail, where he later posted bond and was released pending a court appearance.

Warrant arrest

Oswego police arrested Jordan A. Rangel, 21, of the 10-20 block of Roulock Road, Boulder Hill, on a warrant Sept. 11 at 3:16 a.m. on Douglas Road at Farmington Lakes Drive. Police said Rangel later posted bond and was released pending a court appearance.

Retail theft arrest

Oswego police arrested Abraham Lozano, 25, of the 600 block of South River Street, Aurora, on a charge of retail theft at a store in the 2300 block of Route 34 on Sept. 10 at 6:20 p.m. Police said court proceedings for Lozano are pending.

Juvenile arrested

Oswego police arrested a juvenile on charges of retail theft and possession of alcohol by a minor at a store in the 2300 block of Route 34 on Sept. 8 at 6:50 p.m.

Theft reported

Oswego police are investigating a theft that was reported by a 17-year-old at a business in the 4500 block of Route 71.

License, cellphone violations

Oswego police arrested Douglas B. Florey, 49, of Homer Glen after stopping his vehicle on Plainfield Road at Woolley Road on Sept. 4 at 5:30 p.m. Police said Florey was charged with driving on a revoked license and unlawful use of a cellphone while operating a motor vehicle. Florey posted bond and was released pending a court appearance.

St. Charles man arrested

Oswego police arrested Thomas M. Richardson, 34, of St. Charles on a warrant at Plainfield Road at Woolley Road on Sept. 4 at 5:30 p.m. Police said Richardson was detained at the county jail pending court proceedings.

Warrant arrest

Oswego police arrested Adrian L. Palacios, 24, of the 100 block of Twin Oaks, Joliet, after stopping his vehicle on Washington Street at Tyler Street on Sept. 6 at 11:34 p.m. Police said Palacios was wanted on a warrant and cited for speeding. He posted bond and was released pending a court appearance.

Property damage report

Oswego police took a report of criminal damage to property at a business in the 4200 block of Route 71 on Sept. 6. Police said they are investigating.

License violation

Oswego police arrested Taquanya M. Washington, 24, of Pompano Beach, Florida, after stopping her vehicle on Route 34 at Ridge Avenue on Sept. 5 at 12:51 p.m. Police said Washington was charged with driving without a valid license. She posted bond and was released pending a court appearance.

Local man facing charges

Oswego police arrested Andrew A. Allen, 46, of Montgomery after stopping his vehicle on Orchard Road at Mill Road on Sept. 4 at 3:07 p.m. Police said Allen was charged with driving on a suspended license, speeding and having no insurance. He posted bond and was released pending a court appearance.
