Suspended license
Yorkville police arrested Sarah D. Lindo, 37, of the 100 block of Bertram, Yorkville, at 8:59 a.m. on Sept. 5 on charges of driving with a suspended license. Lindo was also cited for speeding, police said.
Construction lumber stolen
Yorkville police are investigating the theft of construction lumber from three different sites. Police said officers learned $1,235 in lumber was stolen from a site in the 3100 block of Matlock Drive between Aug. 31 at 5 p.m. and Sept. 4 at 8:30 a.m. Officers also learned that around $800 was stolen from a site in the 2600 block of McLellan Boulevard between Aug. 28 at 5 p.m. and Aug. 31 at 8:30 a.m. Officers also learned that approximately $700 in lumber was stolen from a site in the 2600 block of Burr Street between Aug. 28 at 5 p.m. and Aug. 31 at 8:30 a.m.
Man injured by car in lot
Yorkville police said a DeKalb man was taken to Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora after he was struck by a vehicle in a parking lot in the 100 block of North Bridge Street at 8:58 a.m. on Sept. 5. No tickets were issued in the incident, police said.
Lawnmower, rototiller stolen
Yorkville police investigated a burglary of a shed in the 300 block of East Van Emmon Road that occurred in the past two months. Police said a lawnmower and rototiller were stolen from the shed at an unknown time.
