DUI, conceal carry violation
Sandwich police arrested Oscar Torres, 37, of the 1000 block of East New York Street, Aurora, after stopping the vehicle he was driving in the 100 block of North Main Street Oct. 5 at 3:46 a.m. Police said Torres was charged with driving under the influence and violation of the Concealed Carry Act. Police said the suspect later posted bond and was released pending an appearance at the DeKalb County Courthouse in Sycamore Oct. 24.
Sandwich police arrested Chad Kedzierski, 39, of Carolyn Lane, Somonauk, Oct. 5 at 11:42 p.m. on a charge of criminal trespass in the 300 block of South Main Street. Police said the suspect was unable to posted bond and transported to the DeKalb County Jail in Sycamore pending court proceedings.
Suspended license, open alcohol
Sandwich police arrested Peter Nicholson, 38, of Fieldstone Lane, Dixon, at 11:28 p.m. on Sept. 24 on charges of driving while license suspended and was also cited for open alcohol in a vehicle. Nicholson was also arrested for having a warrant for failure to appear in Kendall County court, police said. Nicholson posted bond, was released and given future court dates in Kendall and DeKalb counties, police said.
