Waterbury Circle burglary
Oswego police are investigating a burglary at a home in the 300 block of Waterbury Circle Oct. 31. Police said someone entered an unlocked vehicle parked on the driveway of the residence and used the garage door opener to open the garage door and enter the home. Police said stereo equipment, a checkbook, vintage milk glass platter, a case of Squirt and two other garage door openers were stolen. The value of the stolen items was estimated at $1,129, according to police.
Property worth in excess of $500 was stolen from a vehicle that was left unlocked in the 300 block of Waterbury Circle in Oswego, Nov. 1, village police reported.
Dodge Durango stolen
Oswego police are investigating the theft of a 2016 Dodge Durango from a driveway in the 400 block of Raintree Drive Nov. 1 at 5:50 a.m. Police said the vehicle had been left unlocked with the keys in the center console at the time of the theft. A second vehicle parked in the driveway at the residence was also burglarized, police said. The loss in the incident was estimated at $35,000, according to police.
Assault suspect arrested
Oswego police arrested Bryan M. Lawson 34, of the 2500 block of Vermette Road, Plainfield, in the 1800 block of Route 30 on charges of assault and disorderly conduct. Police said the suspect was transported to the County Jail in Yorkville pending court proceedings.
Oswego police are investigating a criminal damage to property incident that occurred in the 100 block of Washington Street Oct. 30. Police said an estimated $700 in damage was done to a windshield on the vehicle.
Oswego police arrested Andrea A. Aguiniga, 32, of the 600 block of 5th Avenue, Aurora, in the 3000 block of Route 34 Oct. 30 at 7:07 p.m. Police said Aguiniga was wanted on a Kendall County warrant. She was transported to the County Jail in Yorkville pending court proceedings.
The windshield on a vehicle parked in the 300 block of Ogden Falls Boulevard was found damaged Oct. 30 at 2:27 p.m., Oswego police reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $200, police said.
Oswego police are investigating a burglary to a vehicle parked in the 300 block of Chicago Road Nov. 1. Police said property worth less than $100 was taken from the vehicle.
