Vehicle damaged at OEHS
Oswego police are investigating an incident in which someone jumped on the hood of a vehicle and damaged it while it was parked at Oswego East High School Nov. 30 at 6 p.m. during a basketball game.
Battery reported at OHS
Oswego police are investigating an incident in which a juvenile was battered at Oswego High School Nov. 20. Police said the incident was reported to them Nov 28.
Juvenile reported battered
Oswego police are investigating an incident in which a juvenile girl was battered at Oswego East High School Dec. 3 at 1:30 p.m. Police said the juvenile was not injured in the incident which was reported to them several hours later.
Motorist cited, injured in crash
Oswego police ticketed a juvenile driver for failure to yield turning left following a crash on Douglas Road at Route 34 Dec. 1 at 12:17 p.m. Police said damage as a result of the incident totaled more than $1,500. The juvenile driver and a juvenile passenger were treated for injuries at an area hospital, police said.
Juvenile charged with theft
Oswego police arrested a juvenile on a charge of theft in the 600 block of Carnation Drive Dec. 12 at 11:35 a.m. Police said the suspect attempted to take property worth $107.94.
DUI warrant arrest
Oswego police arrested James V. Ferraro, 60, of the 300 block of Montgomery Road, Montgomery, in the 2700 block of Route 34 Nov. 27 at 11:59 a.m. Police said Ferraro was wanted on a warrant for driving under the influence. He posted bond and was released pending a court appearance, police said.
Respond to domestic report
Oswego police investigated a report of a domestic battery and a criminal damage to property incident at a home in the 400 block of Blue Ridge Drive Nov. 29 at 3:30 p.m. Police said damage as a result of the incident was estimated at $800. No arrests were made or injuries reported.
Investigate vehicle burglary
Oswego police are investigating a burglary to a vehicle that was parked in a lot at a supermarket in the 3700 block of Orchard Road Dec. 2 at 5 p.m.
One hurt in crash
A Montgomery resident, Amber L. Rivera, 43, was injured when the car she was driving was struck in the driver’s side door by another car driven by Tom J. Kaufman, 71, Yorkville, on Heritage Drive at Route 34 Dec. 2 at 2:44 p.m., Oswego police reported. Police said Rivera was transported to an area hospital, while Kaufman and a passenger in his car were not hurt.
Motorist ticketed after crash
Oswego police ticketed Kimley Love-Gipson, Jr. 26, of Plainfield after the SUV she was driving on Douglas Road at the entrance to the Towns Crossing shopping center was involved in a crash. Police said no one was hurt in the crash, But Love-Gipson was charged with driving on a suspended license.
Facing battery charge
Oswego police arrested Dejah J. Enochs, 19, of Chicago on a charge of battery at a store in the 2300 block of Route 34 Dec. 2 at 1:04 p.m. Police said a 16 year-old girl was injured in the incident and treated at an area hospital.
