Plano High School names students, staff of the month for November

Plano High School recently announced its students and staff of the month for November.

PHS staff nominated students for Student of the Month for the month of November.

Students are nominated for PRIDE behavior (Personal responsibility, Respect, Involved academically, Demonstrates safe behavior, and Excellence in what they do).

Some reasons for nomination include being a peer mentor, hard work ethic, partnering with all students, utilizing support in the building appropriately, demonstrating great effort, showing academic and personal growth.

Students of the Month for November are Ka’Jon Smith, Eric Perez, Jillian Scull, Zachary Lange, Eric Garay, Stephanie Ramos, Karla Rea, Mikayla King and Faith Metcalf.

Students and administration nominated staff members for Staff Member of the Month for November.

Reasons for nomination include taking on extra responsibilities in the absence of others, supporting teachers, displaying strong but positive energy, having an impact on students, ensuring that communication reaches all students and their families, exceeding in meeting the needs of others, helping students with translation services, maintaining a REAPER UP! attitude.

Staff Members of the Month for November are Tom Dean, Dwayne Love, Diana Rose, Dan Tardi, Linda Oleson, Joe Kampf and Josie Jardines.

Students and staff members received a certificate and a breakfast in their honor.
