Kendall County sheriff's reports

Identity theft reported

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of identity theft in the 0-99 block of Amy Drive in Oswego Township on Jan. 15 at 6:35 p.m. Deputies reported that an individual’s personal information was used to open a cellphone account between Jan. 7 and Jan. 9.

Criminal sexual assault investigated

Sheriff’s deputies responded to the Kendall County Jail on Jan. 15 at 5:43 p.m., for a report of an alleged criminal sexual assault that was reported to have occurred outside of the county in November 2018. The incident is under investigation.

Criminal trespass reported

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call in the 16500 block of Frazier Road, in Little Rock Township, on Jan. 16 at 8:04 p.m. in reference to a report of criminal trespass. The investigation is ongoing.

Speeding citation issued

Sheriff’s deputies stopped a vehicle on Route 52 at Brisbin Road in Seward Township on Jan. 16 at 1:54 p.m. for speeding. The driver, Bradley J. Hughes, 47, of the 1500 block of Champlain Street, Ottawa, was cited for speeding 26 to 34 miles per hour over the speed limit. Hughes was released, pending court proceedings.

Violation of order of protection

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a violation of an order of protection in the first block of Surrey Road in Boulder Hill on Jan. 16, at 1:28 p.m. The incident is under investigation.

Disorderly conduct reported

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a delayed report of disorderly conduct involving multiple male juveniles in the area of Saugatuck Road and Amesbury Road in Boulder Hill on Jan. 16, at 6:30 p.m. No criminal complaints were signed, and no arrests were made.

Identity theft reported

Sheriff's deputies are investigating a report of identity theft in the 6600 block of Sundown Lane in unincorporated Yorkville on Jan. 17 at 7:14 p.m. The investigation is ongoing.

Domestic battery arrest

Sheriff's deputies responded to a report of domestic battery in the 0-99 block of Ingleshire Road in Boulder Hill on Jan. 18 at 6:46 p.m. Upon investigation, deputies arrested Kyle Rhoden, 25, of the 0-99 block of Ingleshire Road, Boulder Hill, on charges of domestic battery and resisting a peace officer. Rhoden was taken into custody and transported to the Kendall County Corrections Division for processing.

DUI arrest

Sheriff's deputies responded to a report of a vehicle in a ditch in the area of Plainfield Road and Simons Road in Oswego Township on Jan. 19, at 1:32 a.m. Deputies took the driver, David Rabadan, 39, of the 0-99 block of Brock Way in Oswego, into custody on a charge of driving under the influence. Rabadan was transported to the county jail pending court proceedings.

Domestic battery arrest

Sheriff's deputies responded to the 0-99 block of Woodridge Road in Boulder Hill on Jan. 19 at 5:49 p.m. for a report of domestic battery. Upon investigation, deputies arrested Elliot James Wieck, 20, of the 0-99 block of Woodridge Road, Boulder Hill, on charges of domestic battery. Wieck was transported to the county jail pending court proceedings.

Domestic battery investigation

Sheriff's deputies are investigating a report of domestic battery in the 100 block of Circle Drive East in Boulder Hill on Jan. 20 at 11:33 p.m. The investigation is ongoing.

Speeding citation

Sheriff's deputies stopped a vehicle on Big Rock Avenue at Sweetbriar Avenue in Little Rock Township on Jan. 21 at 2:30 p.m., for speeding 95 mph in a 55 mph zone. The driver, Pedro Reyes, 30, of the 400 block of Sweetbriar Avenue, Plano, was cited for speeding 35 or more miles per hour over the limit, and no valid driver's license. Reyes was released on his own recognizance at the scene.

Suspended license

Sheriff's deputies stopped a vehicle driven by Brittany L. Pratt, 34, of the 300 block of West Indian Trail, Aurora, at the intersection of Orchard Road and Route 34 in Bristol Township on Jan. 21 at 9:25 p.m. for having an expired registration. During the course of the stop, Pratt's license was found to be suspended, police said. Pratt was cited and released at the scene.
