Charged with DUI in crash

Sheriff’s deputies arrested Bradley P. Wagner, 22, of the 100 block of Nottingham Court, Oswego, after the vehicle he was driving was involved in a single-vehicle crash in the 100 block of Wolf’s Crossing Road in Oswego Township at 8:27 a.m. Jan. 31. Police said Wagner was charged with driving under the influence of drugs and cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and improper lane use.

Resisting, warrant arrest

Sheriff’s deputies arrested Jerrol Humphries, 53, of the 0-99 block of Cannonball Trail, Yorkville, at his residence Jan. 30 at 3 p.m. Police said Humphries initially did not comply with deputies’ commands, but was eventually taken into custody without incident or injuries. Humphries was wanted on an Aurora police warrant for driving on a revoked license and was charged with resisting a peace officer. He was transported to the county jail pending court proceedings.

DUI arrest on Plainfield Road

Sheriff’s deputies arrested a juvenile motorist while responding to a vehicle in the ditch in the 3000 block of Plainfield Road in Oswego Township at 8 p.m. Jan. 31. Police said the juvenile was charged with driving under the influence of drugs.

Juvenile domestic battery

Sheriff’s deputies arrested a 14-year-old on two counts of domestic battery on Jan. 30 at 11 p.m., after responding to a domestic battery call in the 0-99 block of Sonora Drive, in Boulder Hill. The teen was referred to the juvenile court system.

Active warrant arrest

Sheriff’s deputies arrested Rufus McClellen, 35, of the 700 block of Oakton Road, Aurora, on an active warrant for violating an order of protection issued out of Kendall County, after responding to the 1100 block of Veterans Parkway on Feb. 2 at 2:47 a.m. McClellen was taken into custody and transported to the Kendall County Jail.

Shots not fired

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of shots fired in Boulder Hill on Feb. 2, at 10:27 p.m. The incident was later determined to be unfounded. Another report of gunshots in Boulder Hill, at 1:55 a.m. Feb. 3, also was determined to be unfounded.

Driving too fast for conditions

A juvenile driver from Plainfield was cited for driving too fast for conditions, after the teen and a juvenile passenger suffered minor injuries when their vehicle rolled over on Cherry Road west of Plainfield Road in Na-Au-Say Township on Feb. 2 at 5:37 p.m.

Identity theft

Sheriff’s deputies responded on Feb. 3 to a reported identity theft that occurred between Jan. 23 and Jan. 31 in the 900 block of Dickson Road. The investigation is ongoing.

Identity theft

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of identity theft in the 0-99 block of East Highland Drive in Bristol Township on Feb. 4 at 12:02 p.m. According to police, someone used the victim’s information to obtain a cash advance from a bank in Chicago at noon Jan. 8.

Criminal damage to property

Sheriff's deputies are investigating a report of criminal damage to property in the 0-99 block of Roulock Road in Boulder Hill on Feb. 4 at 2:55 p.m. According to police, the side mirror of a vehicle was damaged overnight on Feb. 3. The incident is under investigation.

Speeding citation

Sheriff's deputies cited Corey J. Allen, 19, of the 6700 block of College Park Court SW, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, for speeding 35 miles per hour or more over the limit, after conducting a traffic stop in the area of Route 52 and Grove Road on Feb. 4 at 3:30 p.m. Allen was released on his own recognizance.

Identity theft

Sheriff's deputies responded to a report of identity theft in the 7100 block of Roberts Court near Oswego on Feb. 4, at 4:53 p.m. The investigation is ongoing.

Warrant arrest

Sheriff's deputies arrested Elizabeth R. Ross, 40, of the 200 block of Barrett Drive, Yorkville, on a warrant out of Kendall County for failure to appear in court. Ross also had a failure to appear in court warrant issued out of Kane County. Ross was taken to the Kendall County Jail on both warrants.

Child pornography investigation

Sheriff's deputies responded to a report of child pornography in the 10300 block of Fox River Drive in Newark on Feb. 4 at 6:54 p.m. The investigation is ongoing.

Warrant arrest

Sheriff's deputies served a Kendall County arrest warrant for domestic battery to Russell W. Harrison, 61, of the 0-99 block of Longbeach Road, Boulder Hill, on Feb. 4, at 10:49 p.m. Harrison was taken into custody and transported to the Kendall County Jail.

In-state warrant arrest

Sheriff's deputies arrested Conner P. Naughton, 22, of the 12700 block of River Road, on an in-state warrant on Feb. 4, at 11:34 p.m., after responding to a call in the 1100 block of Cornell Lane. Naughton was taken to the Kendall County Jail.
